1. Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed but must be under 15 pounds. There is a required
$300 deposit that will be paid by $50 the first month and $10 each month after
that until the total amount is paid. Tenants are required to provide a
current health certificate from a vet, record of up to date immunizations, proof
of spay or neuter, cats must be declawed, and a city license must be provided.
There is a separate pet lease that must also be signed.
2. How is rent determined?
The tenant’s verified gross income minus verified medical expenses x 30% determines the monthly rent amount. Tenants are required to pay one
month’s rent as the deposit and the first month’s rent is prorated if they do not move in on the 1st of the month. For more information regarding

3. How many aparentments does the facility maintain?
There are 10 handicapped units and 90 regular units. Handicapped units are generally used for the mobility impaired tenants.
4. Are utilities included in the rent amount?
Water and electricity is included in the rent amount.
5. Are there appliances in each apartment?
Stove and refrigerators are included in each unit
6. Are there laundry facilities on site?
There are laundry rooms and common areas on each floor of the facility. Tenants do have to pay .75 cents per each load of laundry.
7. Are there food services provided at the facility?
Golden Age Nutrition provides meals each day at lunchtime. There is a $1.75 charge if you are 60 years old and $3.50 if you are under 60 years old
donation requested for the meal. Golden Age Nutrition does deliver to tenants and others come to the community room to eat.
8. Are transportation services available to tenants?
Pelivan Transit comes daily to transport tenants to the area doctors, grocery stores, etc. The cost is $2 a trip.
